The Bombay High Court today passed an order upholding the petition filed by Wadia Group company Bombay Dyeing, permitting it to handover 66, 651 square metres to Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) and Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) at a single loion at its Spring Mills plot where it is building Island City Centre at Wadala in Mumbai.
· "Accordingly, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority has built 720 flats in the Bombay Dyeing Mills and 2,630 in Spring Mills complexes – both in Wadala, and 544 homes in the Shriniwas Mills compound in Lower Parel, said Awhad. Each flat is one BHK spread over 225 sq feet, with all modern amenities and security.

· The Bombay High Court has allowed Bombay Dyeing to surrender to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) its land in Spring Mills Property at Wadala in lieu of its land in Lower Parel under the Integrated Development Scheme as provided under Development Control Rules (DCR).
